Graduated in time. No payout. The vault buys back and burns the coin.
The parachute deploys. The vault is paid to holders by bag, then again after 24 h.
1. What this is
PARACHUTE is a launch wrapper for pump.fun. A coin launched through it shares part of its pump.fun creator fees, a share the creator chose at launch, into a parachute vault. Every coin gets a 10:00 clock from launch. If it graduates in time, the vault buys the coin back and burns it. If not, the vault is paid to the wallets still holding.
Parachute payouts are creator fees the creator chose to share; nothing is guaranteed. The vault can be small, payouts can be tiny, and coins can go to zero. A payout is not a refund. PARACHUTE is not affiliated with pump.fun, Solana Labs or the Solana Foundation. Nothing here is financial advice.
2. The 10:00 clock
- The clock starts when the launch is confirmed (seconds after the create transaction). The mark is exactly launch + 10:00. It is never extended or paused.
- While the clock runs the keeper cranks creator fees into the vault and reads the bonding curve every few seconds.
- Graduated in time: the bonding curve completed at or before the mark, judged by the block time of the completing trade. A curve that completes after the mark does not count: the parachute deploys.
3. Graduated in time: buyback and burn
- No payout is made. The keeper cranks the remaining fees and buys the coin with everything spendable in the vault (on PumpSwap after graduation, at most 5% slippage), then burns every token it bought with a Token-2022 BurnChecked instruction.
- Below 0.005 SOL spendable the buyback waits. Fees that reach the vault later are bought back and burned once a day at 00:00 UTC (the afterburn).
- A burn is a buy and a burn, nothing else: it is not price support and promises nothing.
4. The parachute: drop 1 at 10:00
- At the mark the keeper cranks fees and reads the coin's full holder list (the mark snapshot).
- Spendable = the vault balance minus a 0.01 SOL reserve (rent and keeper fees) minus payouts and burns already planned but not sent.
- The whole spendable amount is split pro rata by bag across eligible wallets (rounded down). A payout under 0.0001 SOL is dropped and its part re-split across the others. Rounding dust carries to the settlement.
- Below 0.005 SOL spendable, or with nobody eligible, drop 1 carries into the settlement.
5. The settlement: drop 2 at 24 h
The vault keeps collecting fees for 24 hours after the mark. Then the keeper cranks once more, reads the holder list again (the settlement snapshot) and pays everything spendable to wallets still holding. Each bag counts at the smaller of its 10:00 balance and its 24 h balance: buying after the mark adds nothing, selling lowers your share.
If nobody is still eligible, the settlement amount is bought back and burned instead. Fees that arrive after the settlement are burned once a day.
6. Who gets paid
- Eligible: a bag of at least 0.01% of supply (100,000 tokens of a 1B pump.fun supply) in the snapshots that count.
- Never eligible: the creator wallet, the creator's declared wallets, the parachute vault, the PARACHUTE treasury and operator wallets, and bonding-curve or PumpSwap pool accounts.
- Payouts are sent in SOL to the holding wallet. There is nothing to claim.
7. Execution, caps and review
- Payouts go out in batched SOL transfers, 6 per transaction, each with the memo
parachute:v1:payout:<payoutId>. Buybacks and burns carryparachute:v1:buyback:<roundId>andparachute:v1:burn:<roundId>. - In auto mode drops are sent automatically within caps: a drop over 25 SOL, or any single payout over 5 SOL, waits for an operator. Review mode holds every drop for an operator. A withheld drop returns its SOL to the vault and it carries.
- The operator kill switch can pause every keeper transaction. Burns run automatically unless paused.
Current mode: auto.
8. The fee split
- Parachute vault: 60% of creator fees by default, chosen by the creator at launch, never under 50%.
- Creator: the rest, at most 40% (30% with the default split).
- PARACHUTE: a fixed 10%.
- The split is written on chain in pump.fun fee sharing when the coin launches. A launch fee of 0.03 SOL applies on mainnet, and the creator seeds the vault with 0.01 SOL for rent and keeper fees.
9. Custody and the unaligned flag
In this version each parachute vault is held by the PARACHUTE keeper: one encrypted key per vault, transactions limited to payouts, buybacks, burns and fee cranks, every transaction public on Solana with a memo.
pump.fun lets a coin's creator edit fee shares after launch. PARACHUTE cannot stop that. A watcher re-checks the split every few minutes and marks the coin unaligned everywhere, with the transaction, if the vault's share is cut. See custody in the docs.
10. Risks
- Memecoins are volatile and can go to zero. Payouts depend on trading volume and can be tiny or zero.
- A parachute payout is not a refund and does not cover anyone's buy.
- Keeper custody, RPC outages or chain congestion can delay a drop or a burn. Delayed sends are retried; the public record shows every state.
- "My share" is an estimate from the current vault and balances, never a promise.
11. General
By taking part you accept these rules. They may be updated; the version on this page when a coin launches applies to that coin. Not financial advice.
